Be A Smartie! Activity
TDS student leader(s) will hand out safety cards with Smarties candy attached. Cards can have messaging, such as: “Always be smart about buckling up”, “Be a smartie, don’t drink and drive”, “Smart drivers don’t drive drowsy”, “Driving the speed limit is the smart thing to do.”
Don’t Be a Pumpkin Head (Halloween Activity)
During the Halloween holiday be sure to remind students not to be a pumpkin head with trips and reminders to drive safely during this time of night.
Don’t Be a Dum-Dum! Activity
Canvas the school parking lot with DUM DUM candies that have safety messages to leave them on windshield wipers or other areas where they’ll be seen by students.
