Zero Hero

Zero Hero (formerly Zero Crazy) contains three separate activities: seat belt, distracted driving, and distracted walking. Your active team can participate in all three! The activities include:

  • pre-observations.
  • 3 weeks of activities/messaging. Make sure you report these activities for additional All-Star points!
  • post-observations to get a full report of behavior in your community.

Complete the steps and we’ll send your team a $100 (distracted driver or seat belt) or $50 (distracted walker) gift card at the end of the semester and award your All-Star points! Plus, you get your normal points when you complete activities (the 3 weeks of messaging) and report them.

Each Zero Hero completion is worth 15 points. Completing both the distracted driver and seat belt activity you will earn 10 bonus points!

2021-2022 Zero Hero Schedule

Zero Hero (Seat Belts, Distracted Driving or Distracted Walking) can be done any time during the year but must be completed by MAY 6, 2022. If completed before APRIL 1, 2022, you will receive points towards the 2022 All-Stars. If completed between APRIL 1, 2022 and MAY 6, 2022, points will be applied to the 2023 All-Stars.

Once you begin the activity, the entirety should be completed in 6 weeks and activities (being the hero) should focus on the activity message of seat belt safety, distraction free driving OR walking distraction free.

When can our team expect the gift card?

At the end of each semester. Only schools that have completed all steps will receive the gift card. Activities completed in the Fall are sent out in January and Spring gift cards are sent in May.

Gift cards are sponsored by:
