Tabletop Simulator Activity

The Tabletop Simulator is available for schools, in limited areas, to borrow. The simulator offers multiple modules to complete, covering all risks a new driver will encounter. The user can set up a unique User ID and go through all modules, or use one User ID and focus on one risk.

Tablet Activities

The tablets contain multiple videos and one interactive game which students can complete on their own. Videos cover: passing large trucks and buses safely, stopping distances of large trucks and buses, and turning radius of trucks and buses. The interactive games have several sections and challenges. The student must answer questions correctly to get a full code to successfully complete the game.

Driving Simulator Activity

The DWI Simulator is available for schools to borrow. Its primary focus is on impaired driving and can simulate what driving with a .17 BAC would look like. In addition to a focus on impaired driving, the simulator could also focus on the dangers of distractions (by having the driver text while driving or answer questions), nighttime driving, speeding, and focus on looking out for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Campus Walkability Tour

This activity will help your TDS team evaluate the walkability around the exterior of your school, looking to see how easy or difficult it is for you to safely walk around and to/from your campus, including getting to and from the parking lot and accessing neighborhood sidewalks beyond your campus. Knowing the walkability of your school can help determine where you should or shouldn’t walk and where changes or improvements can be made to make your campus safer.

Kahoot! Challenge Central

Using Kahoot, a game-based learning application, your TDS team will promote an online trivia challenge to be completed by students. Our program has many different Kahoot! challenges to choose from that focus on each of the safe driving risks. Our Take 5 Kahoot! challenges consist of 5 questions, while our other challenges go more in-depth.
