The back is where it’s at when it comes to riding in the car. This activity equips students with information they need to know about wearing their seat belts and ends with a fun, interactive game to test their knowledge.
M&M Madness
Peer pressure is a very real reality. Group decision making is much harder than making a decision on your own. This activity explores decision making and peer pressure and discusses what happens when you have more people effecting your decision.
Be A Lifesaver! Activity
TDS student leader(s) will hand out safety cards with Lifesaver candy attached. Cards can have Lifesaver messaging.
Commit-mint Cards
TDS student leader(s) will hand out Commit-Mints safety cards saying “Thanks for your commit-mint to always buckle up.”
Dress Up Days
Have fun dress up days to get everyone involved in learning about teen driving dangers. Sunglasses remind about the dangers of driving at night; pajama bottoms about drowsy driving; and seat belts about buckling up.
Guest Speaker
Invite a guest speaker/entertainer to come to your school.
