Yasmin-Souza- teen of the month

If your life had a soundtrack, what songs would be on it?
Wonderwall, Home, 8TEEN, All I Want

In five words or less, describe yourself.
Enthusiastic, Optimistic, Reliable, Dependable, Outgoing

Who is your favorite celebrity?
Emma Watson

Who do you look up to?
My parents

What are your hobbies?
Travel, read, watch musicals, explore, hike, create different drinks/ coffees at starbucks as a barista.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In college, studying International Business and volunteering around the world, in order to expand my horizons!

If you could meet five famous people, who would they be and why?

  1. Barack Obama – Past president of the U.S.
  2. Malala – I wonder how did she do to overcome her obstacles
  3. Donald Trump – I would love to know how it feels to lead this country, and what are his real plans regards immigration
  4. Emma Watson – How it feels to be an UN Ambassador

What do you want to be when you are older?
I want to work in a company where I am able to represent internationally, while speaking my native language, Portuguese and Spanish. And I plan on working with UN projects.

If you could do anything in the world or go anywhere, what/where would it be?
I would love to grab a backpack and simply jump into the first flight available, wherever it takes me I will know that it will have something to offer me.

If you could change one thing about the way your friends drive or ride in the car, what would it be?
I would love to change the high number of teenagers using their phones while driving, in order to lower down the percentages and raise awareness upon the dangers of being a distracted driver.

Why are you involved in Teens in the Driver Seat®?
I am involved in Teens in the Driver Seat because I am passionate about this topic, and I would love to make a change, starting inside my school and leading to our community. I believe that in order to make a change, you need to start somewhere, and the start is here and now.
