Safest Young Driver Contest Rules

The contest is from April 16, 2018 through June 30, 2018

• Winners will be selected from users that meet the following criteria:
  • Are ages 15 to 24
  • Have completed the sign-up form https://www.t-driver.com/safestyoungdriver/
  • Provided an email on the sign-up form that matches their user email address
  • Have not disabled the app
  • Have received scores for miles driven within the app
  • Winners will be posted here> https://www.t-driver.com/safestyoungdriver-winners/
• Prizes Include:
  • Weekly random sweepstakes drawings for $10 Amazon gift cards
    • Winners will meet criteria listed above
    • Winners must have at least 50 miles scored within the app
    • Winners must have earned at least three (3) safe driving badges within the app
    • Up to 100 gift cards available
    • Drawn weekly: April 25, 2018; May 2, 2018; May 9, 2018; May 16, 2018; May 23, 2018; May 30, 2018; June 6. 2018; June 16, 2018; June 20, 2018; June 27, 2018 from eligible users within the previous week
    • Winners of Amazon gift cards have until August 31, 2018 to claim gift card amount or risk forfeiting the prize
  • $10 Amazon gift cards for the first 200 young drivers who achieve 12 safe driving badges in the app
    • Winners will meet criteria listed above
    • Up to 200 gift cards available
    • Winners announced weekly: April 25, 2018; May 2, 2018; May 9, 2018; May 16, 2018; May 23, 2018; May 30, 2018; June 6. 2018; June 16, 2018; June 20, 2018; June 27, 2018
    • Winners of Amazon gift cards have until August 31, 2018 to claim gift card amount or risk forfeiting the prize
• Grand Prizes of (1) One Whataburger for a Year, (1) One Virtual Reality Headset, and (2) Two Amazon Echo Dots for the Top (4) Four Top Young Drivers (overall score) as of June 30, 2018
  • Winners will meet criteria listed above
  • Must have at least 100 miles scored within the app
  • In case of a tie, winner(s) will be selected randomly
  • If prizes are unclaimed they will be forfeited on August 31, 2018
• Grand Prizes of $200 VISA gift cards for the following Young Drivers as of June 30, 2018:
  • Winners will meet criteria listed above
  • Ranking score must be above 90 to qualify for prize in that category
  • Winners must have minimum of 10 days using the app (registered by June 20, 2018)
  • Two Divisions: 15-18 year old (must have at least 100 miles scored); 19-24 year old (must have at least 200 miles scored)

    • Top No Distraction Ranking
    • Top Safe Speed Ranking
    • Top Safe Braking Ranking
    • Top Safe Acceleration Ranking
  • In case of a tie, winner(s) will be selected randomly
  • If prizes are unclaimed they will be forfeited on August 31, 2018
• All Grand Prizes will be awarded after July 1, 2018
• Notifications of prizes will be sent to user’s email address provided in the sign-up form.
• TDS and UDS Cup points will be awarded to schools using the following formula. All Cup points awarded will be counted toward the 2018-2019 TDS/UDS Cup.
  • 5 app users at your school campus = 3 points
  • 10 app users at campus = 5 points
  • 20 app users at campus = 10 points
  • 30+ app users at campus = 15 points (and is max points toward Cup)
• School information is recorded on the sign-up form. We are not responsible for unidentifiable or missing school information.
• All user data are compiled by Cambridge Mobile Telematics. Texas A&M Transportation Institute is not responsible for the accuracy of this data.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute is not responsible for the overall function of the DriveWell app.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute is not responsible for any data malfunction within the DriveWell app.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute is not responsible for incorrect email addresses.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute is not responsible for unidentifiable, missing, or incorrect information for prize and Cup Point awards.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute is not responsible for users that did not use the same email address on the sign-up form and within the app registration.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute will make every effort to ensure prize winners are 15-24 years of age, but is not responsible for prizes awarded to users outside of this age range that provided false information.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, suspend, cancel or modify all or part of the contest at any time without notice.
• Texas A&M Transportation Institute reserves the right to change any of these rules.
• All decisions are final.
