Chalk up one more state to ban DWT
Monday, November 30th, 2009
In Colorado a new law will go into effect December 1 that will make texting while driving illegal for all drivers in the state. For all 16- and 17-year-olds, the law will also outlaw talking on the phone while driving.
The reason for the law is really a no-brainer – driver distractions are dangerous and can be deadly.
