Teens in the Driver Seat in Georgia

Just like the rest of the country, car crashes are a leading cause of death for Georgia teens of all ages. Through our partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation, we know that distractions and seat belts are two of the riskiest behavior Georgia teens take behind the wheel.

Georgia now has classroom curriculum geared towards K-12 students to educate on traffic safety topics. Check it out here>

If you are a Georgia school and want to get involved, at no cost, enroll today!

In 2023, TDS held it’s first Georgia Safe Driving Summit in downtown Atlanta where teens and program advisors gathered for an interactive day of traffic safety awareness and program activation. We are happy to announce we are having another Summit September 18, 2026! Check it out here

In 2025, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation, we developed an online, interactive report showing the trends related to risky driving behavior from our active TDS teams. View the report here.
