“What would happen to you if a loved one got into a car accident and the person responsible was a teen who was distracted?” Megan Wood, AGE 18

Q: Why are you involved in the Teens in the Driver Seat® program and what do you like most about being a part of the team?
A: I love taking leadership and having people look up to me. I also love to help people in order to make the roads a safer place!

Q: If you could change one thing about the way your friends drive or ride in the car, what would it be?
A: I wish my friends would drive without distracting themselves. It pains me to see the irresponsible actions that they do. The harm that may come to them is hard to think about.

Q: What’s the biggest life lesson you’ve learned?
A: Life can be unfair and when it comes to everything, one has to stay strong!

Q: What hashtags would your best friend or person you are closest to use to describe you?
A: The five hashtags my friends would describe me as would be #Encouraging, #dependable, #loving, #caring, and #persuasive.

Q: What would you say to inspire other teens to care more about safe driving/traffic safety?
A: What would happen to you if  a loved one got into a car accident and the person responsible was a teen who was distracted?
