Steps
|
- Discuss with TDS sponsor a date, time and place to conduct the event.
- Find disposable lunch trays or tray liner for your event.
- Create template with safe driving messages.
- Have TDS team decorate lunch tray the day before with provided materials.
- Greet the students and give a brief explanation about TDS.
- Remind students about safe driving and encourage teens to avoid distractions while driving.
- Don’t forget to take pictures to send to us, post on social media and your school website!
- Complete an activity form to earn All-Star points. If in Texas, submit affidavit or sign in sheets.

- Find downloadable seasonal clip art and images on t-driver.com to add a theme to your event.
- Was the event successful? Keep it going! Each month, choose a new theme or risk to focus on.
- Create a safe driving template for all risks and put out messaging for a week-long event, like National Teen Safe Driving Week.
