Q: Why are you involved in Teens in the Driver Seat®?
A: I rarely drive with a teen behind the wheel because I don’t feel safe or comfortable. This is one of the many reasons why I’m joining the Teens in the Drivers Seat organization. I don’t think teenagers take this as seriously as they should and I hope to inform my friends and classmates on the importance of the road.
Q: If your life had a soundtrack, what songs would be on it?
A: Don’t Dream It’s Over – Crowded House, Don’t Stop Me Now – Queen, Getting Better – The Beatles, Machine – Misterwives, I Love My Friends – Foster the People
Q: In five words or less, describe yourself.
A: Ambitious, Noble, Passionate, Loving, and Optimistic
Q: Who is your favorite celebrity?
A: Justin Timberlake
Q: Who do you look up to?
A: I look up to the teen activists that birthed the March for our Lives.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy reading, dancing, singing, and acting in either theater or film.
Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?
A: I will be a high school graduate, studying at New York University, hopefully becoming involved in the entertainment business. I hope to also become an activist of some kind.
Q: If you could meet five famous people, who would they be and why?
A: Jimmy Fallon, because his spirit and enthusiasm brings a positive energy that I would like to witness in person. Will Smith; to simply seek advice. Paul McCartney, because I’ve always been an enormous fan of his song writing and artistry. Leonardo De Vinci, because after visiting The Louvre this summer, his paintings have me stunned. Steve Jobs, just to see his perspective and innovative mind in action.
Q: If you could do anything in the world or go anywhere, what/where would it be?
A: I want to leave a mark on the world. I want to do something important that’ll shape the future generations to come. Using my platform, once I reach my future goal, I will use it for good to share perspective and incite. I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of making a difference, knowing how cliche it sounds. Our country is in great need right now, so I’d start here in hopes that my positive action spreads globally.
Q: If you could change one thing about the way your friends drive or ride in the car, what would it be?
A: Kids my age, in their teens, have a bad habit of driving with the music blasting. With the music at it’s highest volume, the driver is unable to hear it’s surrounding or simply focus on the task (getting to their destination) safely.
