With the 2020-2021 Teens in the Driver Seat Teen Advisory Board application deadline coming up around the corner can sound pretty intimidating. So, here’s some advice from a current member.
Coming from a small town that doesn’t do much the Teens in the Driver Seat program sounded like a lot of fun and it definitely hasn’t disappointed. So when I was asked to apply for the Teen Advisory Board, I did in a heartbeat! The thought of being on a board with other teens across the nation was definitely scary but once I met the team and all the other applicants all my fears went away.
Becoming a Teen Advisory Board member has not only strengthened my college resume but it has definitely made me more responsible and confident in myself. Being a part of the Teens in the Driver Seat Teen Advisory Board is an amazing stepping stone to a brighter future. I encourage you do join us and apply today for a fun new year!
