When my mother was a teenager, her, her sister, and two of their friends were in an accident. My mom who was driving, my aunt was in the passanger seat, and the two friends in the back. When the other car hit them, the two friends in the back didn’t have on their seat belt, and since it was a convertible, they flew on to the highway and skid a while. My aunt hit her head on the window and busted her head open and my mother broke her arm. To this day the biggest thing my mom regrets is not telling her friends to buckle up. Luckily no one died, but there were some traumatic injuries that could have been avoided.
