The YTS Program is looking for great, new activity ideas to add to our All-Star Rewards Program. We always love the amazing and unique activities our schools come up with, so we’d love for you to present them to your peers at the summit.
Submit and present your school’s activity to be graded by the attendees. The top 3 winners will receive prizes and have their activities officially included in the All-Stars program!
Criteria:
Your activity must:
- Not come from an already-existing All-Star-focused activity.
- Be focused on any of our risk topics (speeding, seat belt use, impaired driving, distracted driving, nighttime/drowsy driving, pedestrian and bicycle safety, rail safety, or large truck and bus safety).
- Use positive messaging. Entries with crashes, blood, bodies, and that are fear-based do to fare well in judging and are not encouraged.
- Not include any illegal or dangerous activities or behaviors.
Activities will be graded on originality, creativity, adaptability (easy for others to pick up and follow), and how educational and informative the activity is. All of these elements will be scored and combined for an overall score.
Presentations can be in the following formats:
- Powerpoint presentation
- Hands-on demonstration
- Hands-on resources
- Pictures
How to Enter:
When you register for the summit, there is a box on the form that will ask if you would like to submit an activity. Click yes, and a section will populate where you can enter your activity information. Make sure to use a fun and unique name, let us know the risk topic you’re focused on, and give us a quick description of your activity.
The deadline to submit your activity is October 20, 2023.
For any questions or if you already registered and want to add an entry, please contact Rubi Mares, [email protected].
