What are your hobbies?
I love running, hanging out with my friend and being around kids. I am on the cross-country team at school and love “racing”, but only on the track. 🙂
What do you want to do when you’re older?
I love working with young children and wish to become a child psychologist after college.
In 5 words or less describe yourself.
If you could do anything in the world or go anywhere, what/where would it be?
My sister went to Tajikistan for six months to pursue her journalism career in another country. Looking at her striving to help all around the world, I wish to go into countries that need help, and pursue my career there too.
Who do you look up to?
My oldest sister
If you could change one thing about the way your friends drive, what would it be?
Everyone tries to look “cool” behind the wheel. I’m lucky to have heard my dad tell me over and over again to never do anything dangerous when behind the wheel just so other people can look at you differently. A few of my friends think it’s fun to race; I wish I could get it into him that it’s extremely dangerous and could take away his life. Beyond that, distractions are the biggest cause of unsafe driving with my friends; although not drinking and driving, my friends tend to speed and text while driving. People in the car are also huge distractions because the driver tries to make his/her friends have “fun” when their in his car. I would want my friends to concentrate on their driving first, forgetting about texting and being “cool.”
Why are you involved in Teens in the Driver Seat?
At first, I thought I would only be a part of this program just because I’m in the Creekview Leadership class, however, it’s more to me now. After hearing about all the teen accidents that have taken place, I’m in this program because I know I can make a difference by spreading the word.
