This page is dedicated to providing support to partners within the areas we serve who are focused on teen traffic safety issues within their community. Our program’s main objective is to stop the number one killer of teens in America – car crashes. Collaborating with community organizations is one of the many ways we can achieve this goal.
With sponsorship from Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, we are able to provide Respect the Rig Community Toolkits that consist of a small amount of free educational items to help increase awareness of safety around large trucks and buses. These resources are designed to support outreach events such as National Night Out, community health fairs, and small organizations that may work with teens, but are not located within the school system.
These kits are not the Teens in the Driver Seat® program and are not designed to replace a TDS program. In order to allow multiple states and regions to receive the kits, we are limiting kits to states and regions.
Groups who use our community toolkit are encouraged to share their pictures with us on any one of our social media channels (listed in the above header) or by tagging us @teensdriverseat.
All Community Kits have been distributed. Please check back after October 1, 2022.
