Ride With Me Activity – A teen-to-parent initiative

IMPROVED ACTIVITY!

Ride With Me is a teen-to-parent initiative aimed at reducing teen fatality and injury crashes by educating parents about the risks young passengers and drivers face each day. Active TDS junior high teams are encouraged to sign up and share the online link to our virtual Escape Room in their community to promote the education of risks young teens face as passengers while providing education to parents and encouraging discussions within families.

You can also take your parent outreach to the next level with our Ride With Me Social Media toolkit…check it out here!

Junior High Activity

Ride With Me is a Junior High ALL-STAR activity!

Teams will encourage parents to participate in an online Escape Room. Parents play by finding clues hidden around the room and answering the questions correctly to escape the room.

Parents must participate with your school code to receive credit towards All-Star points and a possible $100 gift card for your team!

Share the activity link on your campus website or social media sites, at organizational meetings such as PTA or booster clubs, at open house, or in a campus newsletter. Remember – you must provide parents with your school code to participate.

No activity form is required.

Active schools can sign up below and to receive an email with the Escape Room link and full instructions on how to play. Complete instructions will be emailed to you after completing the form. If your team is not active, sign up now to participate in the 2021-2022 school year.

Timeline: This activity can be done any time during the year but must be completed by MAY 6, 2022. If completed before APRIL 1, 2022, you will receive points towards the 2022 All-Stars. If completed between APRIL 1, 2022 and MAY 6, 2022, points will be applied to the 2023 All-Stars.

To receive credit:

  • Teams automatically earn All-Star points for the activity when 15 parents participate by successfully completing the Escape Room (they must get all the way through and submit answers).
  • Teams who have 25 parents participate by successfully completing the Escape Room (they must get all the way through and submit answers) receive a $100 gift card.
