Danielle De La Paz and Cori Hash, members of the Teens in the Driver Seat (TDS) Teen Advisory Board, have been selected to serve on the National Teen Distracted Driving Prevention Leadership Team (TDDPLT).
The purpose of the Teen Distracted Driving Prevention Leadership Team is to “participate in the U.S. Department of Transportation Distracted Driving Summit and serve on the Teen Leadership Team that will develop and implement a youth-led community distracted driving prevention program,” according to the National Organization for Youth Safety.
Cori has been a member of the TDS Teen Advisory Board for two years. She is serving her second year as TAB co-chair, and is very active in her school’s TDS program.
This is Danielle’s first year to serve on the TDS Teen Advisory Board, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming a TAB co-chair. Danielle is very active in her school’s TDS program and is also a member of the Mayor’s Top 100 Teens in El Paso.
Way to go Cori and Danielle!
