“If we can help save a life, we are doing something worthwhile.”
– Jenna Ellsworth

Q: Why are you involved in Teens in the Driver Seat®?
A: I am involved in Teens in the Driver Seat® because I want to educate my peers and community members about the risks of not only failing to wear a seat belt but also of driving while distracted. If we can help save a life, we are doing something worthwhile.

Q: If you could change one thing about the way your friends drive/ride in the car, what would it be?
A: If I could change one thing about the way my friends drive it would be their focus. Many of my friends seem to be distracted by things inside of the vehicle. Thus, they don’t pay proper attention to what is going on around them outside of the vehicle. For example, I know people that will look at their phone to send a text or browse social media. Even if this only takes your eyes off of the road for a second, it is enough to cause an accident.

Q: In five words or less, describe yourself.
A: Analytical, determined, dedicated, responsible, and thoughtful.

Q: Who do you look up to?
A: I look up to my father.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy taking walks in nature, listening to music, and spending time with my family.

Q: Who do you look up to?
A: I look up to my parents, as they dedicate themselves entirely to everything they do and work tirelessly to ensure that my life and my world is the best that they can make it.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: My hobbies include riding and showing Paint horses, writing (from journalism to song-writing), reading a wide range of fiction and nonfiction literature, and forging connections with people from around the world.

Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?
A: In five years, I see myself graduating from college and getting a job.
