You never really know when it will be the last time you say “I Love You” to someone. What would you say if you knew it was really the last chance you ever will have to talk to them. On March 8th 2014, half of my family got into a car crash. When I got the phone call from my father telling me that my sister and nephew had passed away that morning I was speechless. All I could remember was that the last words I texted her was that I hated her. She had died thinking I hated her. But you can’t dwell on the negative things that happened in life. I can only go on knowing that we were able to be in each others life. I choose to remember all the good things that happened while she was alive. Life is short you should take every moment while it counts you never know when it is our last moment with each other. I truely hope my sister knew how much I care and love her.
This is one of the prime reasons that I have become involved with “Teens in the Drivers Seat”. To prevent the heartache of losing a family member, best friend and a trusted person. No one should feel the way I felt the moment i got that phone call.
