The Teens in the Driver Seat (TDS) Teen Advisory Board (TAB) had their third in-person meeting on January 23, 2010. The meeting was held in Dallas, Texas at the Texas Transportation Institute Dallas office.
Five of the thirteen TAB members attended the meeting, including Oscar Cortez, Cori Hash, Brianda Reyes, Ashley Thompson, and Albert Torres.
Major items of discussion at the meeting included:

I am involved in Teens in the Driver Seat to help save lives by reaching out to young drivers and providing awareness on the risks of driving under a variety of potentially dangerous circumstances/conditions.

If I could change one thing about the way my friends drive, it would be that they stop texting while driving. It only takes one second of not looking at the road to cause a crash.
