So, I was impatiently waiting for the green light and then I saw her. I had to look again to be sure. This girl was changing her clothes. In 5 o’clock traffic.

Price to Park

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

Most all kids would love to drive to school and park there if they aren’t already! Driving to school has many benefits. Some of these benefits are not needing and not always having to wait on a ride and being able to function on your own time. While these great things come from being able to drive your car to school it has its price! Who knew driving to school was such an expense?

Patron, Posey and Puddles

Monday, February 21st, 2011

My puppy Patron threw up again and I had to take him to the vet. The doctor told me that they would need to keep him till late afternoon to run some tests, parvo, worms and parasites; this was the only way to get a diagnosis. On my way home I felt sad that my puppy was sick. Then, it started to rain. I just thought the sky felt like I did..sad. It started raining harder. I could barely see. Then I saw her, Posey, I found out later that was her name.

Monday, February 7th, 2011

It’s been a while since I last hung out with my brother. He recently graduated from college and was going to take me on a road trip for the weekend. As we were loading the car with our junk I realize he has been driving around with almost bald tires. Upon further inspection, I noticed his tires were starting to crack too… CRACK!

Drunk Driving Prevention Aimed at Vehicles

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

My mom was killed by a drunk driver in 1996 – 15 years ago this month. She crashed head-on with a drunk driver who was traveling on the wrong side of the interstate. Both my mom and the other driver were killed instantly. I was relieved to know she died instantly, because her truck then flipped and burst into flames. She would have been unable to escape.

$30 is $30!

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

It’s time for another oil change and instead of taking it to the dealership, where I bought the car, my dad said he could change it for me. I would be saving money, and all I need to buy is the filter and the motor oil. To be on the safe side I called customer service, since my car is still under warranty, and was told to just keep record of what was done and when it was done. Plus, my dad showed me how to change it and some other things to check on a regular basis. I just saved 30 dollars!
