TDSer runner up in Drive to Life challenge
Malarie Wells, a senior at Weslaco High School (WHS) and member of the WHS Teens in the Driver Seat program, won runner up in the “Drive to Life” PSA challenge.
The challenge was to make scripts, treatments, or story boards that illustrated the concept for a PSA that focused on one or more of the following traffic safety issues: impaired driving, speeding and aggressive driving, drowsy driving, distracted driving, or seat belt usage.
Malarie’s PSA story board was focused on distractions. According to Weslaco High School’s TDS team sponsor Mary Martin, producing is one of Malarie’s passions and she plans to attend Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia, and major in media and television.
Way to go Malarie!
